Microsoft introduces Surface Pro 3

For those of you that are Microsoft fanboys (or fangirls), Microsoft held an event today to introduce their 3rd generation Pro tablet and some accessories for same. Haiku OS hrev47114 adds HTML5 video/audo

Just a heads up to those following the progress of Haiku OS and it’s Webkit based browser, WebPositive. As of hrev47114 (nightly build), there are the beginnings of support for HMTL 5 Video/Audio. Go check it out! 🙂

Haiku OS and Package Management

If you are a tinkerer of alternative OS’s, then you might know about Haiku OS. It is the Open Source recreation of the old BeOS, that was created by the now defunct, Be, Inc. It is the OS that was ‘almost’ the new Mac OS (Steve Jobs won that battle), but lost out to NeXTSTEP
